APEX Metchem Pvt. Ltd. is a private limited company started in the year 1995 for the manufactring of Industrial Paints, Solvents & Thinner used In various segment of industries.

PROMOTHERS & MANAGEMENT

The company has been promoted by shri Harish Bhatia aged 45 years and Shri Sanjay Bhatia aged 43 years alongwith other members of their family. Both the above promoters are graduate in science. Shri Harish Bhatia has above 12 years experience to his credit in the similar trade.

Under his able guidance & supervision all the firms are doing well & earing profits.
Since the family already owns a foundry and paint unit, all the Directors are well experienced in this trade and are capable of handling day to day administration & business.

MARKETING STRATEGY :

MARKET :  As mentioned earlier there is enough scope of these products in the market. Here we must note that open market& liberlisation policy of the Govt. of india has affected the marketing strategy of the new units coming up in both the sectors viz. Import under OGL, excise cut etc. has helped very much to small units.

MARKETING & SELLING ARRANGEMENT :

PAINT UNIT :
The sale pattern of paint is the same as mentioned above. The firm proposes to appoint/ recruit sales Executives who will book orders from retailers & end users . since the firm proposes to produce industrial products, close contacts with industries is a must and therefore firm proposes to keep and maintain regular contacts with these end users.

The firm proposes to appoint/recruit its own sales force which will cater and fulfill need of  the wholesellers & end users. End users here include big companies, wholeessellers retailers, and govt. departments.

ABOUT PRODUCT

The paints can broadly be classified into two categories viz. decorative paints & industrial paints. The firm proposes to manufacture only industrial paints.
Industrial solvents commercially known as “THINNERS” are use to thin down the viscocity of paints etc . It find usage at both places i.e . in Decorative paints and industrial paints .
Now, on the basis of use we can broadly classify these products in the following categories  :

1. RED OXIDE PAINTS :Generally used as a primer to protects junk etc. on iron made products.
2. ALUMINIUM PAINTS : Are used usually to protect metal sheets.
3. BITUMEN BASED PAINTS : Are usually used for protection of wood & steel concrete .
4. PASTE PAINT : Used as a base material for paints and popularly known as “SAPHEDA” .
5. SOLVENTS : Known as “THINNERS” .used to thin down the viscocity of the paints , printing inks, and also for lacquerisation .

 PROCESS :

Storage of raw material in MS drums is considered to be the first step .Their after these are mixed in mixer. After mixing process is over the resultant produce is put.
